By all the past responses I have read here, I have to imagine he/she loves to create havoc and chaos in people's lives for his/her sheer enjoyment. Your best choice in this scenerio is to ignore the message. He/she will go away to torment someone else. If you respond, you have been hooked for further games/scams.

Mark as Useful Recorded message (woman's voice with British accent)with offer to lower interest rate on my credit card. I knew it was phony since I don't have any credit cards. I pushed '9' to speak to a representative who hung up on me when I told him I only wanted to be removed from their call list.

Mark as Useful I have received SEVERAL calls from this number. When I answer, no one speaks to me I just hear foreign people speaking in the background. They seem to not hear me because I have yelled into the phone & used other loud noises, but get absolutely no response. When i call the number back it tells me i need to input an access code for their service. How do I get rid of this nuisance???

Mark as Useful I called ATT requesting internet connection and hey would keep calling back since I asked him to while I made a decision. In the end I wanted the service so i gave him my name, address and social security number. Is this what they usually ask for? Because after I gave him that information the call hung up, and he didn't call back. Maybe because it was close to 7pm and it was too late?
